We have a cross-county, regional, and national mission where we are responsible for inpatient care of individuals referred by the courts to forensic psychiatric care and involuntary treatment of mentally ill patients from correctional services, jails, and psychiatric units.

Many of our efforts are carried out in collaboration with other healthcare and community actors, such as courts, correctional services, police, municipalities, and healthcare neighbors within the regional world. We have approximately 190 employees and 86 inpatient care places. Within the clinic, there are 6 care units, outpatient care, assessment and treatment unit, and administration.

Job Description

In this role, you will work with both care and community protection. You will work with a long-term care plan where you have a motivating, supportive, and active role in the patient's rehabilitation. Documentation in the patient journal is also part of your work.

Together with your colleagues, you will maintain a good working environment in the unit where safety is an important part. Therefore, you will participate in self-defense training, which you are expected to be able to participate in.

You will receive more information about the position if you are called for an interview, as well as good preparation during the introduction days. The position includes both day and night work as well as weekend duties.

Work Group

The clinic intends to open four new care places in connection with an existing care ward. New employees will be part of a work group serving in the new departmental organization being created. In your position, you will collaborate with various professionals, including doctors, nurses, and caregivers.

About You

A nursing education with a focus on psychiatry or equivalent education is desirable but not an absolute requirement. Experience working in psychiatry or other healthcare services is meritorious.
